“The best thing I did for the podcast was become consistent. Just start with once a week, then maybe start twice”
-Miss D ( @yovy_d ) hs been using her experience in the corporate world to create something of her own. She hosts and produces “ The Yovy D Show” a podcast where she discuss business and use of skills with other business minded people.
Yovy may be best known for her keen eye for a good marketing strategy. She understands the power of using social media and other digital outlets as tools to create a business and not just a place to be a watcher.
Listening to the episode it would be easy to think she was born with something special and think she has this all figured out. She has had to be patient just like the rest of us “ we all start at 0 “ she reminds us. She too had to overcome imposter syndrome and figure out how to package her skills and strengths into something that could provide value to other people.
After connecting with all these people she has decided it was time to create the party that she was hoping to be invited to. She has partnered with other local podcasters to create the SoCal Podcast Explosion, ane event where podcaster can come together and interact with like minded people.
If that wasn't enough, she is focused on building tools and workshops for people looking to learn skills in the media world, create more content for the Latin market and build out a daily show.
